I'm Jonathan Wevers. Photographer. 27 years old.
After my three-year training as a photographer in Düsseldorf with a main focus on fashion and modeling, I was drawn to the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona to chase the fast pace of the city and the freedom of a modern, cosmopolitan city.
This exciting time taught me a lot, and living in this beautiful city also helped me progress in photography.
However, there's something that touches and fascinates me even more. Growing up just 20 meters from the forest and pure nature, I've always been fascinated by the local life in the forest. For me, there's nothing more beautiful than observing the hustle and bustle of nature – no matter where in the world.
Today, I can proudly call myself a wildlife photographer. There's nothing more fascinating to me than the authenticity of nature—and especially of wild animals. The incredible variety of facets and the absolute presence in the moment can teach us a lot. There's still a vast world out there, full of freedom and wilderness.
It is worth making this clear to people – and protecting all of this.
